The Power to Create

My name is Cecelia Meraki and I would call myself a complex artist. I constantly challenge preconceptions, and use art to reflect on my life experience. I’m unashamed for being who I am. Finding confidence in my strength, skill, and self- expression; I challenge myself to dig deeper, without apology for what I might find. I want to share that moment of creation, when what I envision starts to become reality. For me, confidence is knowing that while I may not fit a preconceived notion, the sum of my experiences & my journey through life is indeed greater than the whole.

I believe in magic & I'm also a practitioner of Magick. I'm leftist, liberal, & dedicated to continually educating myself & others about the many disparities in our society. I'm privileged in some ways & not in others.
